Randy Ferbey of Team Fershue. May 10th, 2010

Before Jennifer Jones cut Cathy Overton-Clapham and Team Gunnlaugson headed for Russia, Randy Ferbey joining forces with Brad Gushue, Mark Nichols and Ryan Fry was the biggest story of this off-season. An Albertan playing with a team based in Newfoundland is still mighty interesting so we had a conversation with the quotable Randy last week.

Now is the time to train for the 2010-2011 season by following the programs in Fit to Curl: A Sport-Specific Guide to Training for the World’s Greatest Game by Olympic Gold Medalist John Morris. It’s available at fittocurl.com, at curling pro shops and at Chapters/Indigo/Coles throughout Canada. And on Saturday, May 15th at 2 PM, John will be signing copies of the book at the Chapters store at 66 Crowfoot Terrace NW in Calgary.
