Eugene Hritzuk, World Senior Men’s Curling Champion. June 24th, 2009

He’s spent a lot of time chasing dreams on ice — he tells us he started curling when he was 10. So it was nice to see Eugene Hritzuk get a big win last May — that’s right, May — at the World Senior Men’s Curling Championship in Dunedin, New Zealand. That’s a long way for curling to take a guy from Saskatchewan. In this interview, you’ll also hear Eugene reveal for the first time what really happened on his last rock — remember that Pat Ryan had the hammer — in the 1988 Brier final.
