Braeden Moskowy talks about winning the 2013 Sasktel Tankard and, yes, that ejection. February 5th, 2013

It’s been some time — for all kinds of reasons — but I’m back with another edition of The Curling Show. A bit of funkiness in the audio at the outset as my regular microphone was making life difficult and I had to switch to a backup one.

Braeden Moskowy, the third on Team Virtue — authors of a horrible World Curling Tour season but, now, owners of the green jackets of Saskatchewan — talked about the victory that sends his team to the Tim Hortons Brier and definitely discussed all that went on with the ejection from the game and the removal from the building of second Chris Schille.

In other news, we’ve sold out of Fit to Curl: A Sport-Specific Guide to Training for the World’s Greatest Game by Olympic Gold Medalist John Morris but a second edition is in the works. Like us on Facebook and bookmark fittocurl.com so you’ll know when it’s available.

Braeden Moskowy, 2011 DEKALB Superspiel champion. December 1st, 2011

The 2011 Canadian Junior champion, still with Kirk Muyres at third but now with an all-Kidby front end, had been playing lots but not winning enough until his team ran the table in Morris. I talked to the always Tweeting Braeden a few days after his first win against the grown-ups.

Remember to get the curler on your holiday gift list a copy of Fit to Curl: A Sport-Specific Guide to Training for the World’s Greatest Game by Olympic Gold Medalist John Morris. Buy it at fittocurl.com and at your favourite pro shop.
