Brent Laing Interview. November 28th, 2007

Oh sure, he won two world junior championships with John Morris and captured a world title with Glenn Howard last year, but this is Brent Laing’s first time on The Curling Show. I’m sure he now feels one step closer to accomplishing everything he’s wanted to do in his curling career.

Steve Gould Interview. November 21st, 2007

The long-time lead on Team Stoughton was on the phone to talk about the team’s recent win at the Best Western Wayside Inn Curling Classic. And, of course, I had to ask him about the troubles that followed him out of the locker room in Brooks. We also take a look back at the 2007 Brier and, as an added bonus, you’ll hear his take on Pat McCallum in The Runback.

Amy Nixon returns. November 8th, 2007

Nearly two years since her last appearance on The Curling Show — right before the 2006 Winter Games — Amy Nixon of Team Kleibrink was back to talk about her life in the sport since that time.

Rachel Homan Interview. November 3rd, 2007

We talked to the he skip of the junior women’s team that ran through a very tough field of top rinks in London at the Southwestern Ontario Women’s Charity Classic. One part of the conversation: why can’t junior teams in Canada play down in for the men’s and women’s titles? Interestingly, and hopefully there’s not a Curling Show jinx, Rachel’s team struggled just a few days after this interview against some of the top junior women’s teams at the OVCA Junior Superspiel.
