It was another call to Winnipeg but this time we were talking to Pat Simmons, one of Saskatchewan’s best. During a break at the Asham World Curling Tour’s BDO Classic Canadian Open, Pat talks about the team’s ever-changing front end, gives his thoughts on eight end games and discusses the state of the game in Saskatchewan. Make it to the end of the interview to hear my thoughts on curling’s latest cresting flap.

Hi Dean,
Your Dad was saying you’re getting 35,000 hits a week. That sounds promising. Keep up the great work!
See you in a couple of months.

Well, that’s not quite right. There are currently more than 15,000 unique listeners and over 35,000 downloads per month. Whatever the case, I’m happy with the way the show has grown.
