We start the New Year by talking to that famous Olympian, Russ Howard. Russ talks about his expectations before the Trials, his friendship with the Gushue rink, how the Trials may impact the structure of future competitive teams and a whole lot more. We end with my wishes for curling in 2006.
I’m heading to Winnipeg this weekend for the BDO Canadian Open – hopefully, we’ll post some interviews from the event.

Glen,
Caught your show today. Thanks for a really well done show. I’m a total novice to Curling who hopes to follow Team USA and Canada in the olympics this year. Can you recommend a good book that teaches the ins and outs of curling? Thanks.

Thanks for listening to the show. Curling for Dummies by Bob Weeks is probably a good start. Ed Lukowich also has a book that would be a good start. And if you want to follow the competitive game as a spectator, The Black Book of Curling gives you a good look at all the teams.
