David Nedohin Interview, Part Two. July 20th, 2005

The second half of our two part interview with Dave Nedohin of the Ferbey 4. We talk about the rivalry with Team Martin, the dynamic between the Ferbey 4 and the Tour teams that boycotted CCA events, winning on last rock in the Brier final and the miss on his last shot against J.M. Menard. As usual, music from Black Pudding closes the show.

On a tech note, if you use the latest ITunes, you can subscribe to our feed without any other podcasting software. Just click on SUBSCRIBE TO PODCAST under ADVANCED and paste our feed from your browser. It makes automatic downloads very routine. Unfortunately, we’re still not able to add our show to the ITunes Podcast Directory. A bit maddening since everything in our feed seems correct. Hopefully, we’ll overcome that challenge shortly.

Finally, we just want to remind you that you can always listen to the interview as streaming audio. Just click on DOWNLOAD and it will start to play. Thanks for listening.

David Nedohin Interview, Part One. July 11th, 2005

The first half of our two part interview with Dave Nedohin of the Ferbey 4. We talk about their off-season preparation, their technical approach, Dave’s unique delivery, the 2005 World Championships, the Oly Trial selection process and how the team has recovered from tough losses. If you stick around until the end of the show, you’ll be able to enjoy a wee bit of “Rockaholic” from Black Pudding. We’ll be posting the second half of Dave’s interview sometime next week.

John talks about the Dream Team from 1983, the differences between that team and the world championship team of 1990, and the way the game has changed over the years. It’s an interesting look back with a curler who helped advance the sport.
